MCSO SAR Rescues

Monterey County Search and Rescue has conducted numerous rescue and recovery missions within the past week. On 8-21-15, a hiker became lost and exhausted while hiking in the Los Padres Forest near Fort Hunter Liggett. Inmate Student Graduation

The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Bureau proudly announces the graduation of the second session of “Parenting: During and After Prison”. Sexually Violent Predator Placement on Hold

The proposed residential placement of Eldridge Chaney Jr. at 780 El Camino Real North, Prunedale is no longer a consideration and will not be the future residence of Eldridge Chaney. The property owners withdrew the residence offer to the State of California. Deputy Craig L. Knox

Deputy Craig L. Knox was born on March 12, 1955, in Monterey County. On July 18, 1978, Craig married his wife Debra Marie Steinbach in Reno, NV.
